<p><strong>Abu Dhabi:</strong> The UAE’s national rail network is preparing to welcome passengers, with <strong>Etihad Rail confirming its 2026 launch timeline</strong> at the second edition of <strong>Global Rail 2025</strong>, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The event, running until October 2, focuses on “Shaping the Future of Transport and Strengthening Global Connectivity” and brings together global leaders in rail, transport, and infrastructure.</p><p>Patronage for the exhibition comes from <strong>His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan</strong>, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, and the event is supervised by <strong>His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan</strong>, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs’ Affairs, and Chairman of Etihad Rail.</p><h4>Etihad Rail: Connecting Emirates with Comfort and Speed</h4><p>Etihad Rail’s passenger network is designed to offer <strong>world-class comfort, safety, and efficiency</strong>, connecting 11 cities and regions nationwide—from <strong>Al Sila in the west to Fujairah in the east</strong>, passing through key stops such as <strong>Ruwais, Al Mirfa, Sharjah, Al Dhaid, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai</strong>.</p><p>Trains will accommodate <strong>up to 400 passengers per trip</strong>, providing dedicated spaces for working, reading, or relaxing, with multiple daily services ensuring smooth transit for individuals, families, and groups. Travel times are optimized for convenience: <strong>Abu Dhabi to Dubai in 57 minutes, Abu Dhabi to Fujairah in 105 minutes, and Abu Dhabi to Ruwais in 70 minutes</strong>.</p><p>Azza Al Suwaidi, Deputy CEO of Etihad Rail Passenger Services, emphasized that <strong>integrated first- and last-mile solutions</strong> are being developed in partnership with municipalities and local transport providers to ensure a seamless journey.</p><h4>Stations and Passenger Experience</h4><p>Station infrastructure is central to the Etihad Rail vision, designed to be <strong>accessible, safe, and fully integrated</strong> into the urban landscape.
