Abu Dhabi/Dubai, October 2025 – Every October, the world turns pink to raise awareness about breast cancer, one of the most common health threats to women globally. In the UAE, the Pink Caravan, a flagship initiative of Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP), is taking the fight a step further by bringing free breast screenings directly to offices through its Mini Mobile Clinic.
The Pink Caravan’s mobile approach transforms workplaces into health awareness hubs, making early detection more accessible for busy professionals. By visiting companies and institutions, the initiative ensures that women can undergo clinical breast examinations conveniently, without disrupting their daily schedules.
“Early detection saves lives,” says FoCP representatives. “By bringing screenings to the workplace, we empower women to take charge of their health before symptoms develop.”
The Pink Caravan operates two specialized units to maximize outreach:
Mobile Medical Clinic – Equipped with 2D and 3D mammography, this unit provides diagnostic imaging for women requiring further evaluation.
Mini Mobile Clinic – Focused on clinical breast examinations, this unit offers quick, professional checks directly at workplaces.
Together, these clinics bridge the gap between awareness and action, supporting early detection and preventive care.
By hosting the Mini Mobile Clinic, companies contribute to employee well-being and support the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3), aimed at reducing premature mortality from non-communicable diseases. Participating workplaces demonstrate corporate social responsibility, promoting a culture of health, awareness, and community solidarity.
While awareness peaks in October, the Pink Caravan operates year-round, sustaining access to screenings and health education. This ongoing effort underscores that the fight against breast cancer is not seasonal—it is a continuous mission to protect lives.
The Pink Caravan urges companies and organizations across the UAE to host the Mini Mobile Clinic. Each screening is more than a checkup—it is a step toward saving a life. Through workplace participation, communities come together to promote early detection, preventive care, and stronger public health.
This October, as the world turns pink, the UAE sets a global example by bringing healthcare to people, one workplace at a time.
