UAE Bags Two AFC Medical Awards 2025
<p><strong>UAE Clinches Two Golden Awards for Medical Excellence at AFC Medical Awards</strong></p><p>The UAE has been recognised for its outstanding contributions to football medicine, winning <strong>two Golden Awards for Medical Excellence</strong> at the <strong>4th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Medical Awards</strong> in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.</p><p><strong>Dr. Mourad Ghrairi</strong>, Director of the FIFA Medical Centre in Dubai, and the late <strong>Dr. Abdullah Hassan Baroon</strong>, former UAE national team doctor, were honoured for their more than <strong>25 years of dedicated service</strong> to sports medicine. Their work has been instrumental in <strong>advancing player care, rehabilitation, and performance standards</strong> across the region.</p><p>The awards were presented alongside the <strong>8th AFC Medical Conference</strong>, which brings together leading professionals in sports medicine to exchange expertise and research.
