Dubai RTA Announces Adjusted Service Hours for Public Holiday on September 5
Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced changes to service hours across the city on Friday, September 5, in observance of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) birthday. The adjustments affect Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport, and vehicle testing centres.
Customer Happiness Centres will be closed for the holiday.
Smart Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and the RTA head office will remain open 24/7.
Dubai Metro (Red and Green Lines) will operate for extended hours, from 5:00 am to 1:00 am the following day.
Paid parking zones and other transport services will follow adjusted schedules to ensure smooth city movement.
The announcement comes as residents prepare to enjoy a public holiday and extended weekend across Dubai.
