Abu Dhabi, August 30, 2025 – The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) has reaffirmed its status as the region’s premier cultural and heritage showcase. This year, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, attended the event, emphasizing the UAE’s commitment to preserving tradition while promoting sustainability and innovation.
Now in its 22nd edition, ADIHEX 2025 spans 92,000 square metres and features exhibitors from 68 countries, making it the largest gathering of its kind in the Middle East and Africa. Focused on hunting, equestrian pursuits, falconry, heritage preservation, and outdoor lifestyles, the exhibition draws tens of thousands of visitors annually, including government officials, investors, tourists, and cultural enthusiasts.
During his tour, Sheikh Hamdan reflected on the exhibition’s significance:
“ADIHEX is more than a cultural or sporting event; it shows how we preserve our heritage and pass it on to future generations in a modern way that safeguards our identity. The exhibition reflects the legacy of our forefathers, reinforces the UAE’s commitment to sustainability, and highlights the creativity of Emirati youth.”
He added that the event serves as a model for bridging tradition and modernity, while promoting global collaboration around sport, environment, and heritage.
Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, visited prominent pavilions, including:
Caracal Pavilion (EDGE Group): Showcasing advanced hunting and sporting equipment.
Al Ghadeer Crafts Pavilion (Emirates Red Crescent): Highlighting traditional Emirati craftsmanship and community initiatives.
At each stop, he reviewed innovations, engaged with exhibitors, and learned about initiatives that balance cultural preservation with modern advancement.
Organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX combines culture, sports, and technology. While falconry and equestrianism showcase the UAE’s heritage, exhibitors also highlight sustainable hunting technologies, equestrian advancements, and conservation programs, positioning the exhibition as both a cultural festival and an international industry platform.
With participants from nearly 70 countries, ADIHEX demonstrates Abu Dhabi’s role as a global hub for heritage, trade, and cultural dialogue. The event fosters knowledge exchange, cross-border collaboration, and sustainability initiatives, highlighting the UAE’s leadership in cultural diplomacy and innovation.
Sheikh Hamdan’s visit underscores that ADIHEX is more than an exhibition – it is a living expression of Emirati values, bridging the past and the future. With this year’s record-breaking scale, ADIHEX 2025 sets a new benchmark for cultural exhibitions worldwide, blending heritage, sustainability, and innovation.
The exhibition runs until September 7, 2025, offering visitors the chance to explore cultural showcases, global innovations, and firsthand experiences of how Abu Dhabi continues to connect tradition with modernity, East with West.
