UAE Schools to Hire 300+ Emirati Teachers Under New Education Partnership
A new partnership between the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and Aldar Education is set to transform the education sector in the UAE by creating more opportunities for Emirati teachers and education professionals.
The initiative aims to recruit more than 300 UAE nationals across Aldar-operated schools in Abu Dhabi, including over 100 Emiratis entering the teaching profession for the first time. Officials say the agreement represents one of the biggest efforts to strengthen Emirati representation in private education institutions across the emirate.
The collaboration is being viewed as a long-term strategy rather than a short-term hiring campaign. Through this partnership, both organisations plan to build a structured career pathway for Emirati graduates interested in education, leadership, and specialist school roles.
According to education officials, the programme will focus on attracting young Emirati talent into classrooms while also preparing them for future leadership positions within schools. Reports indicate that up to 30 internship opportunities and around 40 classroom assistant positions may be offered annually to help candidates gain practical experience before becoming full-time teachers.
