Indian Expat Wins Dh15 Million in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Draw
Abu Dhabi: Luck shone on an Indian expat as he won the Dh15 million grand prize in the Big Ticket Series 278 draw held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
The winner, Sandeep Kumar Prasad, a Dubai resident originally from Uttar Pradesh, held ticket number 200669, purchased on August 19. In an interesting twist, the winning ticket was picked by Sabuj Miah Amir Hossain Dewan, a Bangladeshi tailor in Dubai who himself won the Dh20 million jackpot in August on his first try.
When the hosts called, Sandeep ā who works at Dubai Drydocks ā initially hesitated, thinking it was a routine call. Realizing it was the Big Ticket, he shouted in excitement: āOh, thank you sir, thank youā¦!ā
Sandeep revealed he bought the ticket as part of a group of 20 people. Although he has been in the UAE for three years, this was only his third month participating in Big Ticket.
Other winners in the draw included:
Shameem Moolathil Hamza Moolathil, who won a BMW M440i in the Dream Car contest.
Six participants, each winning Dh100,000 in the consolation prize.
Four contestants in the Big Win live contest, bagging up to Dh150,000 in cash.
