Sheikh Mansoor Inaugurates Automechanika Dubai 2025, Showcasing Future Mobility
Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, officially opened Automechanika Dubai 2025, reaffirming the emirateās position as a global hub for automotive innovation and aftermarket solutions. The 22nd edition of the regionās largest automotive aftermarket and service industry exhibition is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will continue until December 11.
Automechanika Dubai has grown into a flagship international trade platform, connecting manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and service providers from across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. This yearās event reflects the continued confidence of global automotive players in Dubaiās business environment and its strategic location linking international markets.
During the opening ceremony, Sheikh Mansoor emphasized that Automechanika Dubai 2025 plays a key role in reinforcing Dubaiās reputation as a preferred destination for showcasing cutting-edge automotive services and technologies. He noted that the exhibition attracts leading local, regional, and global companies, highlighting the emirateās ability to support innovation-led growth in the automotive and transport sectors.
Sheikh Mansoor stated that the advanced solutions and technologies showcased at this yearās exhibition align closely with Dubaiās long-term vision of adopting smart and modern technologies. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to build a fully integrated and future-ready infrastructure for transportation, logistics, and mobility services. He stressed that such exhibitions provide global companies with an essential platform to introduce innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development.
According to Sheikh Mansoor, Automechanika Dubai not only helps drive progress in the aftermarket sector but also enhances competitiveness by promoting smarter, more efficient, and environmentally friendly technologies. He underlined Dubaiās growing role as a regional innovation hub and a meeting point for senior decision-makers and industry leaders shaping the future of automotive services and logistics.
As part of his visit, Sheikh Mansoor toured several exhibition halls and met with representatives from prominent national and international companies presenting their latest technologies in automotive maintenance, spare parts, smart driving systems, and mobility solutions. His tour included visits to the pavilions of Golden Extreme, Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT), and T.C.N., each showcasing advanced products designed to improve vehicle performance and durability.
He also explored the German pavilion, where he stopped at the stand of ZF Services, known for its smart driving systems and innovative mobility technologies. Sheikh Mansoor further visited the stands of Brembo, Central Motors, New East, and Dynatrade, all of which are major players in automotive components and services. Additional visits included Al Shamali Group, Euro Diesel, Türkiye Klinic Global, and Anand Exports, reflecting the international diversity and scale of the exhibition.
The 2025 edition of Automechanika Dubai brings together more than 2,400 exhibitors from over 60 countries, spread across 20 exhibition halls. The event also features multiple dedicated international pavilions, allowing participating nations to showcase their automotive capabilities and explore cross-border business opportunities.
Notably, the exhibition has expanded significantly this year, recording an 11% net increase in exhibition space, now covering over 92,000 square metres. This expansion further cements Automechanika Dubaiās position as one of the most influential automotive aftermarket trade events in the Middle East and Africa.
In addition to the exhibition, a comprehensive conference and workshop programme is running alongside the event. These sessions focus on the key pillars defining the future of the automotive aftermarket, including sustainability, innovation, digitalisation, electrification, training, and safety. Policymakers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, distributors, fleet operators, and service providers are coming together to discuss challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
