A Welcoming Dialogue and Shared Vision
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed warmly welcomed President Noboa and emphasised the UAEās commitment to strengthening its relations with Latin American countries, including Ecuador. Sheikh Mohammed noted that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE continues to pursue economic diversification and innovation. The country is actively investing in future-focused sectors such as renewable energy, green industries, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy. These priorities, he said, create valuable opportunities for collaboration with countries like Ecuador that are also looking to accelerate development and modernise their economies.
He stressed that the UAE seeks partnerships that go beyond traditional trade relationships, focusing instead on sustainable growth, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives that can deliver long-lasting value to both nations.
Ecuadorās Interest in the UAE Development Model
