Some Dubai schools āopenā to changing timings to ease traffic, shorten commutes
Some schools in Dubai are considering changes to their school timings as a possible way to ease traffic congestion during peak hours and reduce commuting times.
Schools say staggered start and finish times could help spread traffic more evenly throughout the day. However, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has stressed that any changes should protect student wellbeing and ensure that learning time is not affected.
The discussion comes as Dubai continues to look for ways to manage traffic during busy school hours and improve daily journeys for families.
