Sharjah to Host Al Asayl Exhibition 2025 at Expo Al Dhaid

Sharjah, September 20, 2025 – The emirate of Sharjah is preparing to welcome horse, camel, and falconry enthusiasts from across the UAE and the wider region for the fourth edition of the Al Asayl Exhibition 2025. The event, organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), will run from September 25 to 28 at Expo Al Dhaid.

Over 250 brands to participate

This year’s edition will bring together more than 250 exhibitors and brands, making it one of the largest platforms in the UAE dedicated to equestrian, camel, and falcon supplies. Businesses will showcase the latest innovations in equipment, products, and services ranging from advanced breeding technologies to stable and transport gear, as well as veterinary and nutritional solutions.

The exhibition has become a leading meeting point for breeders, traders, and enthusiasts, offering them a chance to explore both traditional practices and modern innovations in animal care.

Spotlight on falconry heritage

One of the key highlights of the 2025 edition is the much-anticipated Falcon Auction, which is expected to attract collectors and falconry lovers from across the Gulf. On display will be rare and purebred falcons, including the prized Shaheen, Gyr-Shaheen, Gyr-Tiba, and pure Gyr falcons.

With demand for high-quality falcons steadily increasing, organisers anticipate active bidding sessions that reflect both the cultural significance and commercial value of these birds. The auction also serves as a platform to preserve falconry traditions, which are deeply rooted in Emirati heritage and recognised by UNESCO as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage.

Celebrating culture and tradition

While commerce and trade form a large part of the exhibition, the event is equally committed to promoting Arab heritage and culture. Visitors can expect:

Educational workshops on equine, camel, and falcon care.

Sessions on disease management and feeding systems.

Demonstrations of sustainable hunting techniques and responsible practices.

Showcases that highlight the role of falcons, horses, and camels in Arab history and traditions.

These cultural and educational activities are designed to enrich the visitor experience while ensuring knowledge transfer between experts, professionals, and young enthusiasts.

A growing fixture in Sharjah’s events calendar

Commenting on the significance of the event, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said:

“The Al Asayl Exhibition has become an integral part of Expo Al Dhaid’s annual calendar. It reflects Sharjah’s role as a hub for specialised events, catering not only to residents and visitors but also contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage, the promotion of sustainable hunting, and the support of traditional sports that are deeply embedded in Emirati society.”

The exhibition has grown in size and influence since its launch, drawing participants from across the UAE and neighbouring countries. Its success demonstrates the growing interest in specialised trade fairs that combine commerce, culture, and community engagement.

Strengthening Sharjah’s role in heritage preservation

Sharjah has long been recognised for its efforts to preserve and promote traditional Arab sports and heritage activities, with the Al Asayl Exhibition serving as a prime example. Beyond providing a commercial platform, the event fosters knowledge-sharing, innovation in animal welfare, and sustainable practices that benefit both professionals and enthusiasts.

By blending trade, culture, and heritage under one roof, the Al Asayl Exhibition continues to position Sharjah as a regional leader in promoting events that are both culturally relevant and economically significant.

Looking ahead

As preparations near completion, anticipation is building among breeders, falconers, and equestrian communities. With its unique blend of heritage showcases, modern innovations, and international participation, the Al Asayl Exhibition 2025 is set to be one of the most engaging editions yet.

For visitors, the four-day event will not only provide access to cutting-edge products and premium animals but also offer an immersive experience into the traditions that remain central to Emirati identity.
